Miss Six would like it to be understood that this is how a star wears her scarf. Please note that the scarf matches both the green dress and the purple glasses with diamonds in them. She certainly wouldn't want anyone to think she doesn't match.
Miss Six also says that when a star is in a magazine, this is how the picture should look. Scarf wrapped around head, eyes on shoulder.
Also, I have been instructed to print these pictures for her so she can make a magazine with her pictures and other pictures which she will cut out from old issues of Lucky. Then she will take it to first grade for show and tell so that everyone can see her picture in her magazine.
Also, she is not a loser, no matter what her older brother says. She is most definitely a star.
Are we all clear on this? Yes? Good. Carry on, knitters.

That photo is worth the trouble of that strange yarn!

Those are great photos! I love that she quickly realized that the scarf goes over her hair to 1) protect it from the wind as she drives in her convertible and 2) to look mysterious.

Casting on … It starts almost by accident: the women who buy their knitting needles and wool from Georgia’s store linger for advice, for a coffee, for a chat and before they know it, every Friday night is knitting night.
Finding a pattern … And as the needles clack, and the garments grow, the conversation moves on from patterns and yarn to life, love and everything. These women are of different ages, from different backgrounds and facing different problems, but they are drawn together by threads of affection that prove as durable as the sweaters they knit.
